This informational pamphlet is a document that I edited for a local gym in my hometown, Functionally Fit Fitness Center. The original document consisted of lengthy paragraphs of information written in drab, 12-point Times New Roman on an otherwise blank page. I performed moderate copy editing and substantive editing on the information from the existing brochure, then edited the organization and formatting by adding visually captivating graphic design elements adhering to the C.R.A.P. principles. I also used my existing knowledge of advertising visuals used by commercial gyms as a loose style guide for my graphic design. I completed this editing project prior to receiving formal editing and advertising education, so it is far from perfect. Nonetheless, it is one of my first real world editing projects so I will always be proud of it.
